Pregnancy Relaxation Classes

During pregnancy, it’s only natural for mums-to-be to feel overwhelmed.

There’s a lot going on – physical changes, lifestyle changes, relationship changes, anxiety over the birth and how you’ll cope with a new arrival – to name a few.

My Pregnancy Relaxation Classes are a designated safe-space for pregnant women.

A place where you can have some much needed me time, a place to talk openly with other mums-to-be, a place to relax and to have some bonding time with your baby.

If you’re feeling tired, anxious or stressed, or simply want to take some time out, these classes are for you.

What to Expect

During each session we’ll have a general catch-up. Here you’ll have the opportunity to discuss anything good or bad that has come up for you in the last week in a safe and supportive environment, without any judgement.

Each week we’ll discuss a topic related to pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period such as water birth, birth plans, visitors after birth.

There’ll be two relaxation sessions, one will be guided by me and one will be self-guided.

And we’ll have a talking point such as a story from the media, a photograph, video etc.

The session will end on some final thoughts, along with the opportunity to ask me any questions.

There’ll be 3 x 6 week Terms so you won’t do the same session twice.

What do I need?

You don’t need any specific equipment, everything can be done on the chairs.

However, if you’d like to, you can bring a comfy pillow; a blanket; a yoga mat if you’d prefer to do the relaxation parts lying on the floor – you could even bring your birthing ball if you’d like.

You can wear whatever you like – if you want to come in your PJs you’ll receive no judgement from me!

Wear or bring whatever you need to feel comfortable.
